Why there is a Returnable Deposit?
To ensure the utmost caring of the Products you rent, Rentable requires a returnable deposit each time you rent an item. This amount is billed at the last step of the checkout process together with the shipping fees. The amount of this deposit will be returned to your card once the return process has been completed, usually 10-15 days after you return the item.
When renting a Product, you agree to treat the Product you rent with great care. The rental coverage provided by us covers “normal wear and tear”, but you are responsible for any loss, destruction, or damage to the Products for any reason, including due to theft, loss, fire, major stains, mysterious disappearance, or any other cause. If you return a Product that is damaged beyond “normal wear and tear”, then you hereby authorize us to keep the deposit, or part of it, for repairing or replacing the Product. In case of replacement, the damaged product will be returned to you.
Returning Your Rentals
When you are ready to return your rentals, put them in Rentable’s garment bag with all hangers and plastic bags they came with. Please ensure that all jewelry, accessories and handbags are safely packed in the boxes and bags in which they were sent to you. If your rentals arrived in a polybag or a cardboard box, please use them for your return.
Finally, put Rentable’s garment bag in the Courier’s plastic bag and tape the prepaid return shipping label to the outside of it and send it off.
Rental Period
You can let us know when you want your rental period to begin by writing down the day under the NOTES section in the Shopping Bag.
Remember to place your order at least 15 days before the date you want to receive the items in order to provide ample time for Rentable to prepare and deliver the items to you.
Rentable does not guarantee the delivery of orders placed in a period shorter than 15 days from the day of the event.
